HealthShare serves the communities health needs through coordinated volunteer action. The need for small volunteer acts is very large in our community. It can be as simple as picking up some cat food for the housebound person down the street or driving someone to pick up their prescription. | ||||||

are ready to provide what some have called random acts of human kindness. Other people in our community need those acts of kindness. HealthShare is helping those two groups of people find each other. Small, simple volunteer actions can make a big difference for the elderly and persons living with disabilities. HealthShare volunteers will help with such services as:
Volunteering through HealthShare is flexible -- it can be tailored to fit your schedule and your preferences of how you want to volunteer. We are making it easy to volunteer your time and skills in a way that you control. Though we encourage membership, you do not need to be a HealthShare member to be a HealthShare volunteer or HealthShare care recipient.
